UBIE Extraordinary General Assembly 2025
The Extraordinary General Assembly of Unconditional Basic Income Europe (UBIE) will take place online (via Zoom) on May 10, 2023.
This extraordinary session has been called to address important questions about the future direction of UBIE. In recent years, we have observed a strong decline in activity levels across the organization. Before proceeding with the regular board elections, it is essential to collectively reflect on UBIE’s purpose and structure going forward.

Keynote Speech
We will begin with a keynote speech by Steven Forti (lecturer at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and expert on contemporary far-right movements) addressing the question: “Can UBI contribute to countering the growing far-right hegemony in Europe and beyond?” This will be followed by an open discussion.
